4. Select \u201cSignal – Private Messenger\u201d (from developer Signal Messenger, LLC)<\/p>\n

5. View the general information about the Signal app, such as screenshots, size, reviews, feature descriptions, and version number<\/p>\n

6. Tap the blue \u201cDownload\u201d icon to download and install Signal<\/p>\n

7. When the progress bar is complete and Signal has finished downloading, the app can be opened<\/p>\n

8. After downloading and installing Signal, you will be asked to enter your mobile phone number in order to register for Signal. An SMS with a verification code will then be sent. If this fails, you can choose to receive a phone call: an automated voice will read out the code<\/p>\n
