Signal for iOS has a new beta version: 7.68. What’s new in this update?
The latest version of Signal for iOS includes various bug fixes and other technical improvements. One bug that’s been fixed occurred when linking devices — if you tapped “Learn More” during the synchronization process, the sync would be interrupted. That’s no longer the case.
Signal has also improved GIF search. If you clear the search field after looking for a GIF, you’ll now automatically see trending GIFs instead of a blank screen:
Lastly, work on Signal backups has continued this week. Signal is currently developing two types of backups for iOS: external backups using Signal’s end-to-end encrypted storage service and local backups.
