Signal introduced support for Chromebooks in Signal Android version 8.20.
This is the first version of the Signal Android app that can be installed on a Chromebook through ChromeOS’s Android compatibility layer. Users with supported devices can install Signal directly from the Google Play Store and use it on their Chromebook.

Don’t have a Chromebook? Signal has also expanded support for linked devices. While Signal already supported linked desktop devices on Windows, macOS, and Linux, users can now link Android tablets, iPhonesund Android phones to their primary device.
