Signal introduced support for Chromebooks in Signal Android version 8.20.
This is the first version of the Signal Android app that can be installed on a Chromebook through ChromeOS’s Android compatibility layer. Users with supported devices can install Signal directly from the Google Play Store and use it on their Chromebook.
Signal says in a blog post that the interface will be more comprehensively optimized for Chromebooks soon.
Don’t have a Chromebook? Signal has also expanded support for linked devices. While Signal already supported linked desktop devices on Windows, macOS, and Linux, users can now link Android tablets, iPhones e Android phones to their primary device.
